Martin Luther King Jr. was a tireless advocate of equality, justice, and nonviolence. Each year we officially honor his memory on the third Monday in January as a national holiday. King was a unique and forward-thinking individual, and the celebration of his life should reflect his progressive and peaceful views. The King Holiday helps inspire Americans to get involved for the betterment of their communities. But this is only one day of the year. How can you carry the energy and enthusiasm for volunteer service throughout the entire year? Here are some tips.
